Lynn Roodbol is a Certified Wellness Coach specializing in Cancer Recovery, and a long time survivor of cancer. Lynn will help you navigate the journey with cancer, so you can raise your quality of life and make the most out of each day.

After a diagnosis of Stage II breast cancer in 1986, skin cancer and preliminary colon cancer in 1987, Lynn began a life of volunteering and coaching in the cancer community. She has attended many seminars, workshops, and courses related to cancer, and learned self management skills to help her self live well.

For many years Lynn has worked as a Medical Radiation Technologist in Diagnostic Imaging performing X-Ray, C.T. Scan and Mammography exams. She has also worked and volunteered in Health Promotion for Screening Mammography, the Anemia Institute, and as a Facilitator of the Chronic Disease Self Management Program, (CDSMP). In the 1990’s Lynn trained as a life coach with the Coach Training Alliance; then in 2008 trained as a Wellness Coach with Wellcoaches Corporation in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

Lynn’s volunteer roles include being a peer counselor, coach navigator, and patient advocate for people living with cancer. She has facilitated support groups and was the co-founder and co-facilitator of an annual breast cancer retreat in British Columbia, Canada.

Lynn now lives with her husband in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Her interests are walking, hiking, reading, movies, bridge, photography, and spending time with her grandchildren. Lynn practices Therapeutic Touch to promote healing and relaxation. She enjoys writing and has published articles relating to health and wellness.
